Yet again the staff and patrons of Lydon Veterinary centre have come through for us in an amazing way! As you can see from the image below, Rory (the owner and head vet) brought over trolley loads of food for us. Every single piece will be going to help animals in need at our centre. Many thanks again to everyone who donated! Warm regards, Ray The kind people at English Shetland Sheepdog Club Rescue brought over an unexpected Christmas gift for the charity - a brand new microchip scanner! These devices are absolutely invaluable in getting lost animals back to their owners. A huge thanks again to Pauline, Sandy and everyone at English Shetland Sheepdog Club Rescue! Rest assured the scanner will be put to good use. Warm regards, Ray Every year the wonderful patrons and staff of Lydon Veterinary Centre in Kingstanding get together and make a huge donation of food to us. Rory, the owner and principle vet, ventures over on Christmas morning to drop it all off and every year we are blown away by the generosity shown. We get lots of stray animals and injured wildlife over the course of the year, but especially during this season, who are all very much in need and we couldn't do it without this kind of amazing support. Click here to go to Lydon Veterinary Centre's facebook page to read more about their incredible work. A huge thanks to all the members of Lydons who make a donation, and an extra big thanks to Rory for arranging it and dropping the care package over to us. Rory has been doing this a fair few years now and has become a close personal friend of mine and of course the charity.
Very warm regards, Ray Wishing you all a very happy holidays from everyone at Hollytrees, both two legged and four.
Thanks to all of the wonderful people who donate to us. Whether it's food, bedding or something to put in to the charity funds, every single bit helps. Here's to a fantastic 2015! All the best, Ray |
