In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic Hollytrees will be restricting visitors to the centre for the foreseeable future as follows:
We are of course still taking in injured wildlife. If you are bringing wildlife to our centre please contact us once outside and a member of staff will meet you at the gate. We will remain open for the boarding of cats and dogs. However we ask that if you are showing any symptoms of the virus at all or are returning from a country with an outbreak that you call us first or make arrangements for someone else to drop off and/or collect your animals. Other than our boarding clients we are strictly closing to the public. We are still rehoming animals at this time however this will be via appointment only. If you are interested in adopting an animal from us contact us on 01564 823244 or [email protected] and one of our members of staff will discuss the matter with you. If we have anything suitable to your situation and you are interested we will arrange a time for you to come by and take things from there. We are still accepting donations of newspapers, bedding, towels and bric-a-brac, and are extremely appreciative of anyone willing to make the journey. In this case there is a green wheelie bin outside our gate that can be used to drop off donations or in the case of larger donations a member of staff will meet you at the gate to assist you. We implore any volunteers who are showing any symptoms of the virus at all, or who have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms to remain at home. Know that we’re extremely grateful of your help, as always, but precautions must be taken for everyones safety. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these measures. Many thanks for your understanding, Ray |
